ePTFE sheet retains the full chemical resistance of virgin PTFE because no fillers or additives are introduced. The biaxially oriented fiber structure provides superior tensile strength (≥10 MPa) and compressibility compared to skived or molded PTFE sheet.

Expanded PTFE sheet is manufactured with a unique biaxial orientation and micro-porous network structure that significantly increases strength, reduces cold flow, and improves sealing performance compared to conventional PTFE sheet. It offers superior resistance to creep relaxation and maintains sealing force for extended periods.
Standard sheet size is 1500×1500 mm (60″ × 60″), with thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 6.0 mm (1/64″ to 1/4″). Maximum sheet size is 2000×2000 mm. Custom sizes and thicknesses are available on request. Send your specification for a quote.
Yes. Our expanded PTFE sheet is manufactured from 100% virgin PTFE and complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 for food contact. It also meets EG 1935/2004 and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Certificate of Conformity is available with every shipment. See our Certificates page.

Yes. ePTFE sheet is the recommended gasket material for glass-lined steel, FRP and plastic flanges because it seals at very low bolt stress — typically 10 MPa — preventing flange cracking. We supply soft, low-density grades specifically for these fragile flange applications. Send your flange details for a recommendation.
